Description: Yam kun chiang (Thai script: ยำกุนเชียง) is a Thai salad made with a dried pork sausage called kun chiang. This sausage is of Chinese origin and is called kwan chiang in the Min Nan dialects, or la chang (Chinese script: 臘腸) in Standard Chinese. This dish is often eaten with plain rice congee (khao tom kui; Thai script: ข้าวต้มกุ๊ย).
