Description: Yhyakh is a New Year celebration in Sakha Republic (Yakutia). During this festival Sakha people perform rituals and dance in national costumes to celebrate the end of the long and harsh winter, meeting the summer solstice and season of sun, abundance and fertility. These young folks perform a dance symbolizing the awakening of strength and energy of youth fed by white snow and milk.
