Imma Monsó

Imma Monsó (born in 1959 in Lleida, Catalonia) is a Spanish writer. She writes exciting stories, mostly novels, that are both funny and touching.

Imma Monsó is known for mixing silly humor with deep kindness for her unique characters. She studied at the University of Barcelona in Spain and the University of Caen Normandy in France. Besides writing books, she is also a high school teacher. She writes for big Spanish newspapers like El País and La Vanguardia. Many of her books have been translated into Spanish, and some into other languages too. She has won many awards for her writing.
