Iris Tió Casas (born on November 2, 2002) is a talented Spanish artistic swimmer. Artistic swimming is a sport where athletes perform amazing routines in the water, combining swimming, dance, and gymnastics. They move gracefully to music, often in sync with teammates.

Iris has won many medals in major competitions. She earned a bronze medal in the free routine combination at the 2018 European Aquatics Championships. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, she helped her team win a bronze medal.

Iris had an incredible performance at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore. There, she won two bronze medals in the solo technical routine and team free routine events. She also achieved three gold medals in the solo free routine, duet free routine, and mixed duet free routine. This made her the first Spanish swimmer to win all three types of medals (gold, silver, and bronze) at the World Championships. She also became the only Spanish swimmer with more than one gold medal at the World Championships.

  • In 2022 Budapest, she won a bronze medal in the highlight routine.
  • At the 2023 Fukuoka championships, she earned a gold medal with her team in the technical routine. She also took home two bronze medals for her solo technical routine and duet technical routine.
  • In 2024 Doha, Iris won a silver medal with her team in the technical routine. She also secured a bronze medal in the duet technical routine.
  • The 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore were a huge success for Iris. She won gold medals in the solo free routine, duet free routine, and mixed duet free routine. She also added bronze medals in the solo technical routine, team technical routine, and team free routine.

Iris has also excelled in European events.

  • At the 2023 European Games in Kraków–Małopolska, she won two gold medals. These were for the team technical routine and the team free routine.
  • In the 2024 European Aquatics Championships in Belgrade, she won a gold medal with her team in the technical routine.
  • At the 2025 European Artistic Swimming Championships in Funchal, Iris won gold medals in the mixed duet free routine, team free routine, and team technical routine. She also earned silver medals in the solo technical routine and duet free routine, plus a bronze in the solo free routine.
