Ivana Andrés Sanz (born 13 July 1994) is a professional footballer from Spain. She plays as a central defender, which means she helps protect her team's goal. Ivana plays for Serie A club Inter Milan and is also a key player for the Spanish national team.

Club Career Highlights
Starting in Youth Football
Ivana Andrés started playing football in her hometown of Aielo de Malferit. She joined her local club, Aielo CF, when she was young. At 12 years old, in 2007, she moved to the DSV Colegio Alemán school. There, she played for their C and B teams. By 2009, she had joined the first team of Valencia CF, which was already playing in Spain's top league.
Playing for Valencia
In 2009, Valencia CF made an agreement to include the women's football team as part of their famous club. Ivana played for Valencia for nine years. During her time there, her team reached the final of the 2015 Copa de la Reina (Queen's Cup). They had a big win against FC Barcelona in the semi-final, but then lost 2-1 to Sporting de Huelva in the final. In the 2016-17 season, Valencia finished third in the league, which was their best result ever. In her last years at Valencia, Ivana Andrés was the team captain.
Moving to Levante
After many years at Valencia, where she was captain, Ivana made a surprising move. She joined their city rivals, Levante UD. She played for Levante for two seasons. During this time, her team finished third in the Spanish championship. The top two teams were usually FC Barcelona and Atlético Madrid.
Joining Real Madrid
In the summer of 2020, Ivana Andrés signed with Real Madrid. This was when Real Madrid started their new women's football section. She was chosen as the team captain in her very first season with them. In the first match of 2024, Ivana scored an important goal. She got the equalizer in the 91st minute, helping Real Madrid win 2-1 against Madrid CFF.
Playing for Inter Milan
On June 27, 2024, it was announced that Ivana Andrés would be joining Inter Milan. She signed a contract to play for the Italian club for three years.
International Career
Youth Team Success
Ivana Andrés played for Spain's national youth teams. As an under-17 player, she took part in the 2010 U-17 World Cup. Her team finished in third place. She played in all six matches during that tournament. She also won the 2010 U-17 European Championship with Spain, beating the Republic of Ireland in the final. The next year, in 2011, she played in the European Championship again with the U-17 team. They won the gold medal by beating France 1-0 in the final. Ivana played in both the semi-final and the final.
With the U-19 national team, she reached the final of the 2012 European Championship. They lost in the final after extra time against Sweden.
Playing for the Senior National Team
Ivana Andrés made her first appearance for the senior Spanish national team on February 11, 2015. This was in a friendly match against Belgium. In the same year, she was chosen for the squad to play in the 2015 Women's World Cup. However, she did not play in any matches during that tournament.
She won her first title with the national team at the 2017 Algarve Cup. Spain won the final 1-0 against Canada. Ivana Andrés played in all four games. She missed the 2017 European Championship because she broke her collarbone.
In May 2019, Ivana was called up to the Spain squad for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. She was also part of the Spanish team for the UEFA Women's Euro 2022.
Ivana Andrés was selected for the 23-player Spain squad for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. She and her team achieved a great victory, winning first place in the 2023 World Cup.
