Jordi Tarrés (born September 10, 1966) is a famous Spanish motorcycle rider who became a legend in the sport of motorcycle trials. Unlike racing, motorcycle trials isn't about speed. It's a challenging sport where riders use special, lightweight bikes to get through difficult obstacle courses without putting their feet on the ground. It takes amazing balance, skill, and control.

Tarrés was one of the best in the world at this sport. He won the FIM Trial World Championship an incredible seven times! This makes him one of the most successful trials riders in history.

A Legendary Career in Motorcycle Trials

Jordi Tarrés, who was born in Rellinars, Spain, competed in the official FIM Trial World Championships from 1985 to 1997. During this time, he showed everyone his incredible talent and changed the sport forever.

Seven-Time World Champion

Winning a world championship once is a huge achievement, but Tarrés did it seven times. His victories proved he was a master of balance and precision on his motorcycle. His success made him a hero in Spain and an inspiration for many young riders who wanted to get into motorcycle trials.

His amazing career places him among the greatest riders ever. Only two other riders, Dougie Lampkin and Toni Bou, have won more world titles than him. In 2010, the official motorcycling organization, the FIM, named Tarrés an FIM Legend to honor his incredible achievements in the sport.
