José Marín (around 1619–1699) was a Spanish musician from the Baroque period. He was a talented harpist, guitarist, and composer. He was especially known for his popular secular songs called tonos humanos.

In 1644, José Marín joined the Royal Convent of La Encarnación in Madrid. He worked there as a tenor, which is a type of singer. He was also a priest and a cantor (a singer in a church choir) for the royal chapel. He served under two Spanish kings, Felipe IV and Carlos II. His life had some difficult times, but he worked hard to regain his good standing.
