The HSBC Tower is a tall office building in New York City. It has 30 stories and is located at 452 Fifth Avenue. From the building, you can see the famous New York Public Library Main Branch and Bryant Park. It stands on the corner of 40th Street and Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan.

The building was finished in 1984. It is about 400 feet (121.9 m) tall. The HSBC Tower is connected to three older buildings. One of these is the 10-story Knox Building, built in 1902. This beautiful old building used to be the main office for the Republic National Bank of New York. Since 2010, the HSBC Tower has been owned by a company called Property & Building Corporation (PBC).
