La Crucecita is a lively town in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. It's part of a popular resort area called Huatulco, which also includes Tangolunda and Santa Cruz. This town is very close to the beautiful bays of Huatulco.
La Crucecita is only about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) from Federal Highway 200. The town has grown a lot because more and more tourists visit the area. It is located within the Santa María Huatulco municipality. This municipality is part of the Pochutla District in the Costa Region of Oaxaca, Mexico.
The main church in town is called Parroquia Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe y de la Santa Cruz. You can find it right in front of the central park. Inside the church, there's a huge painting of the Virgin of Guadalupe. This painting is about 20 meters (65 feet) tall, making it the largest in the world!
