Lucía Hoyos was born in Seville, Spain, on March 5, 1975. Her career in the entertainment world began when she was chosen as "Miss Seville" in 1994. This helped her become a familiar face in both movies and television.

Her Acting Career

Lucía started acting in 1999 with the TV series Journalists. After that, she appeared in many other popular series like Petra Delicate, Paradise, and Ana and the 7. She also acted in Policemen, In the Heart of the Street.

She has also been in several short films, such as You Carry It (2004) and Cyclops (2009). Lucía also appeared in full-length movies like The Syndrome of Svensson (2006) and 4000 Euros (2008).

In 2008, Lucía played the main character in two TV series shown on Channel South: Put Me a Cloud and Rocío, Almost Mother. A year later, she was the main actress in Are Accomplices, a series on Antenna 3. This series was later canceled, but 80 more episodes were shown on the Nova channel. In 2015, she took part in the series Down There.

Her Work as a Presenter

Besides acting, Lucía has also worked as a TV presenter and collaborator. She has been on shows like The Program of Ana Rosa and What Bet?. She was also a guest on the game show Pasapalabra many times.

In 2006, she was a presenter for The Program of Summer on Telecinco. She also hosted Never Will Be a Literate Program in 2001 and Summer 3 in 2003, both on Channel South.

On January 7, 2016, Lucía became a contestant on the Spanish version of Celebrity Big Brother.
