  • Una mesonera y un arriero (which means "The Hand Maiden and the Hunter"). This play was written around 1757. It included a famous song called "Seguidilla dolorosa de una enamorada" ("Painful song of a girl in love").
  • Los ciegos (meaning "The Blind Ones"), which he composed in 1758.
  • El maestro de baile (meaning "The Dance Teacher"), written in 1761.

His music helped shape the entertainment of his era. He was an important figure in Spanish music history.
