Michael James Bailey, born on April 6, 1988, is an English person who used to be an actor. He is most famous for playing a character named Sid Jenkins in the first two seasons of a British TV show for teenagers called Skins. After acting for many years, Mike decided to change careers. In 2017, he stopped acting and became a teacher.

Mike Bailey's Acting Career
Mike Bailey started his acting journey in the early 2000s. His most well-known role was playing Sid Jenkins in the popular British teen drama Skins. This show was very popular with young people.
His Role in Skins
In Skins, Mike's character, Sid, was a big part of the first two seasons. In the final episode of the first season, Mike even sang a song called "Wild World" by Cat Stevens with other actors. After the second season, Mike and the other main actors from those seasons did not come back for the third season of Skins.
Other Acting Projects
Besides Skins, Mike also appeared in other TV shows and movies. In May 2009, he was in a Channel 4 drama called 1066 The Battle for Middle Earth. He played a character named Tofi in that show. Later, in March 2012, he filmed a teen comedy movie called We Are the Freaks in Birmingham. This movie was directed by Justin Edgar and came out in 2013.
