Milio's Sandwiches is a popular restaurant chain. It started in 1989 in Madison, Wisconsin. The very first shop was near the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus. Today, Milio's has 19 locations. You can find them in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. The main office is in Fitchburg, Wisconsin.

Milio's began as a single sandwich shop in 1989. It was located on West Johnson Street. People loved the sandwiches, and the company grew. Soon, more shops opened around Madison.
In 2004, Milio's started letting people open their own stores. This is called franchising. The company also changed its name. It went from Big Mike's Super Subs to Milio's Sandwiches. Each Milio's store bakes fresh bread. They do this every four hours, all day long.
New Owners and Community Work
In October 2020, a group of friends bought Milio's Sandwiches. Their names are Brian Bergen, Timm Heller, Todd Mancusi, Tony Mancusi, and Chris Gentilli.
The company also cares about its community. In 2021, they started a special program. This program helps local non-profit groups. Milio's Sandwiches has won awards too. Madison Magazine gave them silver and bronze medals. These were for being a "Best Sandwich Spot."
