Nature's Pride was a brand of bread in the United States. It was known for making bread with only natural ingredients. Today, the brand is owned by Flowers Foods.

Nature's Pride was first made by Hostess Brands. However, Hostess Brands faced problems and stopped making bread. In 2013, Flowers Foods bought the Nature's Pride brand.

About Nature's Pride Bread

Nature's Pride bread first came out in February 2009. It was the first brand to offer a full line of all-natural bread across the United States.

The brand made many different kinds of bread. These included hearty wide pan breads and traditional sandwich bread. They also made buns and rolls, like their OvenClassics and Premium Harvest varieties.

All Nature's Pride products were made with 100% natural ingredients. This meant they had no artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors. They also did not contain trans fats or high fructose corn syrup.

How Nature's Pride Was Advertised

In September 2010, Nature's Pride started new TV and print ads. These ads showed off the natural ingredients used in their bread.

Nature's Pride bread also won several awards for its taste. In 2009, Fitness Magazine called it the "Best Sliced Bread." In March 2010, Consumer Reports magazine said Nature's Pride Healthy Multi-Grain bread was "excellent and tasty."

Also, Everyday with Rachael Ray Magazine picked Nature's Pride Country White Bread as the best tasting white bread. This was part of their "Best Sandwich Bread" taste test in September 2010.

Nature's Pride bread was even shown on the Food Network TV show "Unwrapped." This episode aired on September 20, 2010. It showed how the 100% natural bread was made.

The brand also took part in big events in 2009 and 2010. These included the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen and the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival. Nature's Pride bread was also featured in the 2010 House Beautiful Magazine Kitchen of the Year.
