In 2005, the company officially changed its name to Nautilus, Inc. They became a public company in May 1999, which means people could buy shares of the company.
In 2011, Nautilus decided to focus only on exercise equipment for homes. They stopped selling to gyms. The company also let other manufacturers use their brand name and technology.
Nautilus was recognized as a great place to work by The Oregonian newspaper. The Portland Business Journal also named them a company with very healthy employees. The American Heart Association has also called Nautilus a "Fit-Friendly" company.
