North Burnet–Gateway (often called NBG) is a large neighborhood in northwest Austin, Texas. It covers about 2,300 acres, which is like 1,700 football fields! It has clear borders: Walnut Creek is to the north, and major roads like US 183 and MoPac (Loop 1) help define its edges.

History of North Burnet-Gateway
The City of Austin has a special plan for North Burnet-Gateway. In 2006, they created the North Burnet/Gateway 2035 Master Plan. This plan helps guide how the neighborhood will grow and change in the future. Later, in 2007 and 2009, more specific plans were adopted to help manage development.
