PINY: Institute of New York is a fun animated TV show from Spain. It's also known as PINY: Pinypon Institute of New York. The show first aired on Disney Channel in Spain on September 18, 2016. It was created by Victor M. Lopez and Rubén Zarauza. The series is based on the popular Pinypon toy line.
The story is about a girl named Michelle Fairchild. She is a student at a special school called PINY. This school helps young people become top fashion designers. Michelle makes friends with two girls, Lilith and Tasha. Together, they form a group called the Indie Girls. They have many exciting adventures at PINY.

What the Show is About
PINY: Institute of New York follows Michelle Fairchild. She is a kind 14-year-old who loves fashion. Michelle dreams of becoming a famous designer. One day, she gets an amazing chance. PINY offers her an interview for a full scholarship.
Michelle makes a bit of a clumsy first impression. This happens with Madame Forbes, the school's headmistress. But Michelle still gets accepted into PINY! When she arrives, she meets her new roommates. They are Tasha Robinson, a confident singer, and Lilith Henderson, a smart scientist. Michelle quickly becomes good friends with them. They decide to call their group the Indie Girls.
However, Michelle also meets Julia Cooper. Julia is a spoiled and popular student. She is the leader of another group called the Beautiful People. Julia has two loyal helpers, Dory and Rita. Julia often tries to cause trouble for Michelle and the Indie Girls. She wants to make them look bad.

Main Characters
- Michelle Fairchild is the main character. She is a kind, creative, and sometimes impulsive 14-year-old. Michelle is new to PINY and loves designing clothes. She is part of the Indie Girls team. Michelle is adopted, and she later finds out Julia is her twin sister and rival.
- Tasha Robinson is one of Michelle's best friends. She is a confident and loyal singer. Tasha is also a member of the Indie Girls team.
- Lilith Henderson is another of Michelle's friends. She is very smart and elegant. Lilith is a scientist and sometimes a bit sarcastic. She is the master planner for the Indie Girls.
- Julia Cooper used to be the main bad guy. She is spoiled, a bit bratty, and very popular. Julia leads the Beautiful People team. She often tries to get rid of Michelle. Michelle is her twin sister, and Julia was adopted too.
- Dory Skornik is one of Julia's assistants. She is a cheerful and sensitive person.
- Rita Finucci is Julia's other assistant. She is bossy and very ambitious. Rita is actually the true antagonist of the series.
