Why Was This Park Built?
This beautiful park was created to remember a person named Robert C. Echele. He was a very important person from a company called Polaris Centers of Commerce. Mr. Echele helped a lot in developing the entire 1,200-acre Polaris area. The park is a way to honor his hard work and vision.
What Can You See at the Park?
Polaris Founder's Park has many cool features to explore:
- Wind Sculpture: One of the main attractions is a tall wind sculpture. It stands 35 feet high, which is about as tall as a three-story building! This sculpture was designed by Robert Mullins, an artist from the Columbus area. He was a friend of Mr. Echele.
- Gazebo: The park also has a lovely gazebo. This is a small, roofed building, often open on the sides, where people can sit and relax.
- Gardens and Water: You'll find Japanese-inspired gardens, which are known for their calm and beautiful designs. There are also waterfalls and a peaceful pond, adding to the park's quiet atmosphere.
