Return to Nim's Island is an adventure and fantasy film from Australia, released in 2013. It was directed by Brendan Maher. The movie stars Bindi Irwin, Matthew Lillard, Toby Wallace, and John Waters. It first showed on the Hallmark Channel as part of the Walden Family Theater series.
This film is a sequel to the 2008 movie Nim's Island. The story is based on the book Nim at Sea by Wendy Orr.
Plot
The story of Return to Nim's Island takes place three years after the first movie. Nim's special island home is now in danger. A company wants to build a pirate resort on the island. Nim, who is 14 years old, and her father, Jack, try to stop them.
Meanwhile, a boy named Edmund comes to the island. He met Nim before and wanted to see her again. But Edmund accidentally brings some poachers with him. Poachers are people who illegally hunt or catch animals.
Nim's father, Jack Rusoe, is away on the mainland. So, Nim must work with Edmund to protect the island. They need to save the animals and the island from the poachers.
