Sahlen Packing Company Inc. is often called Sahlen's. It is an American company that prepares and packages meat. Sahlen's is based in Buffalo, New York.
The company was started by Joseph Sahlen way back in 1869. That makes it a very old company! Sahlen's is known for its delicious deli meats. These include ham, turkey, chicken, and a special "hot ham." They also make popular hot dogs and sausages. Today, you can find Sahlen's products in more than 30 states across the United States.

Sahlen's loves to support sports teams and events. They are involved in racing, soccer, and baseball.
Supporting Race Teams
Sahlen's is a big supporter of car racing. They are the main sponsor for a famous race called the Sahlen's Six Hours of Watkins Glen. They also sponsor a racing team called Team Sahlen. The owner of Sahlen's, Joe Sahlen, even races with the team! Other team members include Joe, Wayne, and Will Nonnamaker.
Women's Soccer Team
Sahlen's used to sponsor a professional women's soccer team. This team was called the Western New York Flash. The Sahlen family actually owned and ran this soccer team for many years. They were in charge from 2008 to 2016.
Official Hot Dogs!
Sahlen's hot dogs are so popular that they are the official hot dog for several sports venues and teams. They are the official hot dog for the Charlotte Knights baseball team. You can also find them at Watkins Glen International, a famous race track. And of course, they are the official hot dog for the Buffalo Bisons baseball team.
Naming Sports Places
Sahlen's has also bought the rights to name some sports stadiums. This means the stadiums are named after their company.
On October 9, 2018, Sahlen's bought the naming rights for Sahlen Field. This is a baseball park in downtown Buffalo, New York. It is where the Buffalo Bisons minor league baseball team plays their home games.
Before that, on February 10, 2011, Sahlen's bought the naming rights for Sahlen's Stadium. This stadium is in Rochester, New York. It is a special stadium built just for soccer. Sahlen's had the naming rights for five years. After that, the stadium's operators decided not to continue the agreement. The stadium then went back to being called Rochester Rhinos Stadium for a while.
Sahlen's also owns a large indoor sports center. It is called Sahlen's Sports Park. This huge building is 180,000 square feet! It has three open fields and one boarded field for different sports. There is also a fitness center and a cafe inside. You can find Sahlen's Sports Park in Elma, New York.
