Sebastián Eduardo Pardo Campos (born 1 January 1982) is a Chilean former professional footballer. He played as a midfielder, which is a player who helps both attack and defense. Sebastián Pardo had a career playing for clubs in Chile and the Netherlands.

Playing for Clubs
Sebastián Pardo was born in Quillota, Chile. He started his football journey at Universidad de Chile. This is a well-known club in Chile.
Moving to Europe
In 2002, Sebastián moved to Europe. He joined Feyenoord, a team in the Eredivisie league in the Netherlands. He played his first game for Feyenoord on 10 September 2002. In that match, against Excelsior Rotterdam, Feyenoord won 4–1. Sebastián even scored his first goal for the team in that game! He played for Feyenoord for five years. During this time, he was often a backup player.
Returning to Chile
After his time at Feyenoord, Sebastián played for Excelsior in the 2007–2008 season. In July 2008, he went back to Chile. He rejoined his first club, Universidad de Chile. On 9 June 2009, Sebastián announced he was retiring from football. He made this decision because of personal family reasons.
Playing for His Country
Sebastián Pardo also represented his home country, Chile, in international football.
Youth Teams
He played for Chile's youth teams. In 1999, he was part of the Chile Under-17 team. They played in the 1999 South American U-17 Championship in Uruguay. Later, in 2001, he played for the Chile Under-20 team. They competed in the 2001 South American U-20 Championship in Ecuador. He also played in the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship in Argentina.
Senior Team
Sebastián Pardo played one game for the main Chile in 2002. This is a big achievement for any footballer.
Team Challenges
Before the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship, Sebastián and seven other players faced a challenge. They were involved in an off-field incident. This incident led to them being suspended. The eight players were suspended for three international matches after the tournament.
Personal Life
Sebastián Pardo has a daughter named Vaitiare. She is also a footballer. Vaitiare plays in the youth system for Universidad Católica [es].
