Siobhan Talbot grew up in Kilmoganny, County Kilkenny. Her dad was a dairy farmer, and her mom was a school teacher. She went to University College Dublin. In 1984, she earned a degree in business. A year later, in 1985, she also got a diploma in accounting.

Her Career Journey

Siobhan started her career as an accountant. She worked for a company called PricewaterhouseCoopers. She worked in Ireland first, then in Australia. Later, she came back to Ireland to work for Waterford Foods.

She then joined Glanbia, a large food and nutrition company. She became the Financial Director for the Glanbia group. In 2013, she was chosen to be the CEO of Glanbia. This means she is in charge of the entire company.

In October 2018, Siobhan was asked to join the board of directors for CRH plc. This is a big construction company. In August 2019, she was reappointed as Glanbia's group managing director for three more years.
