Saint Anne's Episcopal Church is an old and important church in Middletown, Delaware. It has a long history! The church you see today in the town was built in 1888. But there was an even older church on the same spot.

That older church was built way back in 1768. Before that, there was a wooden church built around 1705. Even a queen, Queen Anne, gave a special gift to the church. She sent a "covering for the communion table." This shows how important the church was, even hundreds of years ago.
