Playing for French Teams
Sylvain began his professional career with Bordeaux. He was often loaned out to other teams to gain more experience. These teams included Martigues and Toulouse.
Later, he played for Lille and Marseille. While playing for Marseille, he even started in a big game called the 2004 UEFA Cup Final. This shows he was an important player for the team.
In July 2008, Sylvain returned to France. He signed with Ligue 2 team Reims. After that, he joined Cannes on July 12, 2010.
Playing Abroad: Belgium and Spain
