Meanwhile, in another world called Aurobon, an evil emperor named Odoursin is preparing for war. His army, from a place called Vermia, plans to attack Earth. Their secret weapon is a virus spread by mosquitoes. Odoursin learns that "the Dreamwalker" has been found, and she has a son. He demands that this boy be brought to him.
One day, Sam is riding his bike. He sees a strange cloud of wasps and can't help but follow them. Suddenly, he feels a sharp pain in his neck, and everything goes dark.
Sam wakes up in a strange, blue-green marshland at night. He is scared and confused. He walks towards some distant city lights. But then, he faces terrifying creatures that look nothing like anything on Earth. These beasts want to kill him! Sam thinks he will surely die.
Meeting New Friends and Enemies
Just in time, a group of soldiers appears. But Sam's relief doesn't last long. The soldiers treat him like he's done something wrong. They take him away to a prison. Sam wonders what is happening to him.
In Aurobon, there's another state called Vahlzi, which is against Vermia. Their army is led by Commander Firebrand. He realizes that the Dreamwalker's son has been taken by Vermia. So, Firebrand decides to send his best pilot, a brave young girl named Skipper, to rescue him.
In prison, Sam meets Skipper. She gives him hope that he can escape. Looking out his cell window, Sam sees three moons! He realizes he is truly in a completely different world. When Sam learns the truth about why he is there, he is shocked. He must now fight the evil that wants to destroy people on Earth. Back on Earth, Sam's body is still in a coma.
