UEFA Cup Winners' Cup facts for kids
The UEFA Cup Winners' Cup was a special soccer tournament for club teams in Europe. It happened every year. Only teams that won their country's main cup competition could play in it.
The first tournament was in the 1960–61 season. The last one was in 1998–99. The competition was stopped to make the UEFA Champions League bigger. Now, teams that win their country's cup play in the UEFA Europa League.
