About Vicente Traver
Vicente Traver y Tomás was born in Castellón de la Plana, Spain, on September 23, 1888. He went to high school in his hometown. Later, he studied to become an architect in Madrid and finished his studies in 1912.
After becoming an architect, he moved to Seville. He worked there until 1933. From 1913 to 1915, he designed affordable homes for people in the city. In 1926, Vicente Traver took over from another architect, Aníbal González Álvarez-Ossorio, to become the main architect for the big Ibero-American Exposition of 1929.
