Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe is a super fun water park located in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA! It's part of the famous Wet 'n Wild family of parks. Imagine a place with 40 awesome rides and attractions, including 5 cool pools, special areas just for kids, and one of the biggest wave pools in the whole country. Lots of people love visiting this park – over 400,000 visitors came in 2015! It's a great spot to cool off and have a blast during the summer.

Park History

The park first opened its doors in September 1983 and was called Aqua Gardens. From 1984 to 1986, it was known as Water Country USA. In 1986, a local company bought the park and changed its name to Emerald Pointe.

In March 1999, a company called Ogden Corp bought the park. They also bought other water parks like Raging Waters and the Wet 'n Wild brand. That's when the park got its current name, Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe.

In 2019, a brand new ride called "Bombs Away" was shown to the public. It was supposed to open in 2020. However, because of the Covid-19 Pandemic, its opening was delayed. It finally opened for the 2022 season.
