Making the Movie: Stop-Motion Magic
Worms is a stop-motion film. Do you know what that means? It's a special way of making animated movies. Instead of drawing every picture, animators use real models or puppets. They move the models tiny bits at a time, taking a picture after each small movement. When all the pictures are played quickly, it looks like the models are moving on their own! It takes a lot of patience and hard work to make a stop-motion movie. This film was a big step for animation in Brazil.
