Zach's Zoomer at RCDB |
Zach's Zoomer is a fun wooden roller coaster located at Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon, Michigan. It was built by Custom Coasters International. This ride opened in 1994 and is perfect for younger riders.
Zach's Zoomer got its name from Zach Mark. He is the grandson of Roger Jourden. Roger Jourden was the park's owner. Zach's mother, Camille Jourden-Mark, is now the park's General Manager.
About the Ride
Zach's Zoomer is a special family coaster. It is designed to be a first step for kids. It helps them get ready for bigger roller coasters. The ride does not have sudden drops. It also does not go at very high speeds.
Ride Experience
This coaster is one of three wooden roller coasters at the park. It is also an ACE Coaster Classic. This means it is recognized by roller coaster fans as a great ride.
Design and History
The way Zach's Zoomer is built is similar to older "kiddie" wooden coasters. These were designed by John C. Allen. An example is the Woodstock Express at Kings Island. Kings Island is another park owned by the same company.
