Play-offs
After the regular season, some teams played extra games called "play-offs." These games decided which teams would go to European competitions or which teams would stay in the Eredivisie.
European Competition Play-offs
Four teams that finished high in the league but didn't automatically qualify for Europe played in these games. The teams were Feyenoord, Vitesse, PEC Zwolle, and Heerenveen.
The play-offs had two rounds. In the end, Vitesse won these play-offs. This meant they earned a spot in the 2015–16 UEFA Europa League third qualifying round.
Relegation Play-offs
These play-offs decided which teams would play in the Eredivisie next season. Two teams from the Eredivisie and eight teams from the lower league, the Eerste Divisie, took part.
After all the games, De Graafschap and Roda JC Kerkrade won their play-off matches. This meant they would move up to play in the 2015–16 Eredivisie season. The two teams from the Eredivisie that lost their play-off games were moved down to the Eerste Divisie. The other six teams stayed in the Eerste Divisie.
