From Home to Convent
In 1923, the house got a new purpose. It was bought by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown. It then became a convent for the Sisters of St. Joseph, who are a group of nuns. They lived and worked there for many years.
A Museum Today
In 1990, the A. W. Buck House changed hands again. It was sold to the Cambria County Historical Society
