Training and Early Wins
Angela Arnold was trained by the famous wrestler Booker T at his wrestling school, Reality of Wrestling. During her time there, she became a two-time champion, winning the ROW Diamonds Division Championship. On June 18, 2022, AQA had a big match against Athena for the Warrior Wrestling Women's Championship, but she did not win.
Time in WWE
On March 31, 2021, Angela made her debut in WWE under the name Zayda Ramier. She competed on NXT in a tag team match. She teamed up with Gigi Dolin against The Way (Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell), but they lost. However, on April 27, Zayda Ramier faced Toni Storm on NXT and won! This was her first victory in WWE. Later that year, she had some health issues that kept her from wrestling. On November 4, Zayda Ramier was released from WWE.
Joining All Elite Wrestling
On February 9, 2022, AQA made her exciting debut in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) on their show Dynamite. She challenged Jade Cargill for the AEW TBS Championship, but AQA was not able to win the title. Just two days later, Tony Khan, the head of AEW, announced that AQA had officially signed with the company. However, about six months later, on July 18, AQA shared that she was taking a break from professional wrestling. She explained that it was very demanding physically and mentally, and she needed time away for her well-being.
