About the Story
A Dream of Wessex is a story about a group of people from the 1900s. They create a shared dream world that shows a possible future. When they enter this imaginary world, they forget who they are and where they came from.
The story takes place in the year 1985. A secret project called The Wessex Project is hidden beneath Maiden Castle. This project finds a way to let some of England's smartest people share their thoughts and dreams. They create a perfect, imaginary society.
The main goal of the project is to find important information. This information could help humans survive on Earth. But as the story unfolds, things like power, secrets, and love start to put the whole project at risk.
