Aaron Harper played college basketball for the Ole Miss team from 2000 to 2004. In his final year, he was the top scorer for his school. He averaged 16.5 points per game, showing his skill on the court.

After college, Aaron Harper began his professional basketball career. He played for many teams around the world from 2004 to 2020.
Early Career and Success in Iceland
In January 2005, Harper joined the Úrvalsdeild karla club KR in Iceland. His arrival greatly improved the team's performance. He helped them win many games and reach the playoffs. In one exciting playoff game, he scored a three-pointer with only seven seconds left to win the game for KR.
Playing in France and Ukraine
From 2005 to 2007, Harper played for Chorale Roanne in France. He was named an Pro A All-Star twice, in 2006 and 2007. In 2007, he helped his team win the Semaine des As tournament and become the Pro A champion. After this, he briefly played for Azovmash Mariupol in Ukraine in 2007.
Success in Bulgaria
Harper then moved to Bulgaria, where he played for Levski Sofia from 2009 to 2012. During this time, he achieved more success. He helped his team win the Bulgarian Cup in 2010. He also led them to become champions of the Balkan League in the 2009–10 season. In 2011, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Bulgarian League All-Star Game.
Later Career and International Play
Aaron Harper continued his career playing for various teams in different countries. He played for Sagesse in Lebanon (2012–2013), Élan Béarnais Pau-Orthez in France (2013), and Marinos in Venezuela (2014–2015). He also played for Al Riyadi Beirut in Lebanon (2015–2016) and Quimsa in Argentina (2016–2017). His career also included time with Ferro Carril Oeste (2017–2018) and Guaros de Lara (2019). He finished his professional career with Huracanes de Tampico in Mexico (2019–2020).
His Passing
Aaron Harper passed away in a car accident in Oxford, Mississippi on November 4, 2023. He was 42 years old.
