Abe is the main hero of the Oddworld video game series. He was created and voiced by Lorne Lanning. Abe is a special Mudokon who was once a slave. He bravely helped his people become free from the bad Glukkons.

Who is Abe?

Abe is a Mudokon, a peaceful alien creature from the planet Oddworld. He looks a bit like a tall, thin frog with big eyes. Abe is known for his kind heart and his strong desire to help others. Even though he starts as a simple worker, he becomes a great leader.

Abe's Story

Abe was born into a tribe of Mudokons. Sadly, he became a slave at a huge meat factory called RuptureFarms. This factory was owned by the Glukkons, who are big, greedy bosses. Abe's job was to clean the floors.

One night, Abe accidentally found out a terrible secret. The Glukkons were planning to turn the Mudokon workers into a new meat product! Abe knew he had to do something to save his friends and his people.

Abe's Escape and Mission

Abe managed to escape from RuptureFarms. During his journey, he discovered special powers, like being able to talk to other Mudokons and even control some enemies. He learned that he was the chosen one, meant to free his people.

His adventure took him across many dangerous lands on Oddworld. He had to sneak past guards, solve puzzles, and rescue many Mudokons along the way. Abe's main goal was to shut down the Glukkons' factories and bring freedom back to his people.

Abe's Special Abilities

Abe has several unique abilities that help him on his quest:

• Chant: Abe can chant, which lets him talk to other Mudokons and tell them what to do. He can also use his chant to take control of some enemies, like the Sligs.
• Possession: When Abe possesses an enemy, he can make them do things, like open doors or attack other enemies.
• Sneaking: Abe is very good at moving quietly and hiding from enemies.
• Throwing: He can throw rocks or other items to distract enemies or hit switches.

The Oddworld series is known for its unique characters and its message about protecting nature and being kind to others. The games often show how big companies can harm the environment and people. Abe's story is all about fighting for freedom and justice.
