Abraham Attah grew up in a place called Ashiaman, Tema, in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. He is part of the Ga–Dangme ethnic group. Abraham lived with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Attah, and his five brothers and sisters.
His family life was happy. Abraham's father works at the port, and his mother works in a market. He moved to the United States later in his life.

Abraham Attah started his acting career in 2015. His very first movie was called Beasts of No Nation. In this film, he played the main character, a young boy named Agu. Agu was a child who had to become a soldier.
Abraham's performance in Beasts of No Nation was incredible. He won a special award called the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor. He received this award at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival. This was a huge achievement for his first movie!
