About Adam Lightstone
Adam Lightstone grew up in Nunavut, mainly in Rankin Inlet and Iqaluit. He also spent some time in Kingston, Ontario.
His Education and Work Before Politics
Adam went to Inuksuk High School. After that, he studied accounting at St. Lawrence College. He also earned a business degree from Laurentian University.
Before becoming a politician, Adam worked for the government of Nunavut. He was a senior fiscal advisor in the Department of Finance. In this job, he helped prepare the government's budgets. He also gave advice on money matters.
Adam is also related to a well-known leader. He is the nephew of Eva Aariak, who was the second premier of Nunavut. A premier is like the leader of the government for a territory.
