Adamu Daramani Sakande (born May 6, 1962 – died September 22, 2020) was a Ghanaian politician. He was a member of the Fifth Parliament of the Fourth Republic. He represented the Bawku Central area in the Upper East Region of Ghana.

Adamu Daramani Sakande was born on May 6, 1962. His hometown was Bawku, located in the Upper East Region of Ghana. He went to Portsmouth University in the UK. There, he studied Counter Fraud and Security Management Service Accredited SMS in 2003.
His Time in Politics
Adamu first became a Member of Parliament in December 2008. He ran for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which is a major political party in Ghana. He represented the Bawku Central area. This area is in the Upper East Region.
During the 2008 elections, he received many votes. He got 20,157 votes out of 37,719 votes cast. This meant he won with about 53.4% of the votes. He served one term as a Member of Parliament. A term is a period of time someone holds an elected office.
