The Aden Lava Flow Wilderness is a special protected area in New Mexico. It is managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). This is a government agency that takes care of public lands.

This wilderness area covers about 25,287 acres (which is about 10,233 hectares). In 2019, a law called the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act was signed. This law officially made the area a part of the National Wilderness Preservation System. This means it is now protected forever. The protected area grew slightly to about 27,673 acres.

Before 2019, it was known as the Aden Lava Flow Wilderness Study Area. This meant it was being studied to see if it should become a full wilderness area.
