Adrian Miedziński's Speedway Journey
Adrian Miedziński started his speedway career in Poland in 2002. He made his first appearance for KS Toruń, a team from his hometown. He rode for this club for 16 years in a row, always competing in the Ekstraliga, which is Poland's top speedway league.
Early Achievements
In 2004, Adrian also started racing in the British league for the Eastbourne Eagles. He quickly showed his talent.
- In 2005, he became the Individual Under-21 Polish Champion. This means he was the best young rider in Poland!
- In 2006, he helped his team win the Team Under-21 World Championship. This was a big win for Poland.
After riding for the Swindon Robins in 2006, he joined the Oxford Cheetahs in 2007. However, Oxford later left the league, and Adrian did not race in Britain again until 2012.
Grand Prix Success
A major highlight of Adrian's career came in 2013. He won the Speedway Grand Prix of Poland in his hometown of Toruń. This was part of the 2013 Speedway Grand Prix series, where the best riders in the world compete.
- In 2015, he returned to the Swindon Robins for a second time.
- In 2019, he was part of the Smederna team that won the Elitserien in Sweden.
Facing Challenges
In 2022, while racing for Bydgoszcz, Adrian had a very serious accident. He suffered significant injuries to his brain and spine. Doctors had to put him into a special medical sleep to help him recover. It was a difficult time, but he has been working hard to get better.
