Adrian Jamaal Moss (born December 14, 1981) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He played college basketball for the Florida Gators. He was the captain of the Gators team that won the 2006 NCAA championship. After college, he played professionally in different leagues around the world.

Early Life

Adrian Moss was born on December 14, 1981. After finishing high school, he spent one year at Fork Union Military Academy. This is a special school that helps athletes get ready for college sports.

College Career

Adrian started at the University of Florida in 2001. He "redshirted" his first year, which means he practiced with the team but didn't play in games. This allowed him to gain experience without using up a year of his college eligibility.

In his second year, he had his best game. He scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds against Florida A&M. This is called a "double-double" in basketball.

In the 2006 NCAA Tournament Final, Adrian scored 9 points and got 6 rebounds. He came off the bench to help his team win the championship game. The Florida Gators became national champions!

During his four years at Florida, Adrian played in 123 games. He averaged about 3.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.

Professional Career

After graduating from Florida, Adrian began his professional basketball journey. He first signed with a Danish team called Randers Cimbria. He played very well there, averaging 25.4 points and 11.4 rebounds per game. He was even named to the Eurobasket.com All-Basketliga First Team.

After Denmark, he played for Morges Basket in Switzerland. Then, he moved to Germany to play for Science City Jena. Later, he joined Villa de Los Barrios and Cáceres Ciudad del Baloncesto in Spain. He also played for Eisbären Bremerhaven back in Germany.

Adrian's career took him to many places. He played for Hapoel Kiryat Tiv'on in Israel and then returned to Spain to play for Palencia Baloncesto.

In 2012, Adrian moved to South America. He played for Unión Progresista in Argentina and Atlético Aguada in Uruguay. He then moved to Asia, playing for Bambitious Nara and Niigata Albirex BB in Japan. He also played for the Sendai 89ers.

Later in his career, Adrian returned to Denmark. He played for Stevnsgade Basketball and then BMS Herlev Wolfpack.

Coaching Career

While playing for BMS Herlev in Denmark, Adrian also started coaching. He was an assistant coach for the men's team. He also worked with the club's youth teams, helping young players learn the game. In May 2021, he became the head coach for BMS Herlev. He coached the team until the end of the 2023-24 season.
