Adrian Jamaal Moss, born on December 14, 1981, is an American basketball coach and a former professional player. He played college basketball for the Florida Gators. Adrian was the captain of the Gators team that won the big NCAA championship in 2006. After college, he became a professional player. He played in many different basketball leagues around the world.

Early Life and School Years

Adrian Moss was born on December 14, 1981. After finishing high school, he spent a year at Fork Union Military Academy. This school helps students get ready for college.

College Basketball Career

Adrian Moss started at the University of Florida in 2001. He took a "redshirt" year, which means he practiced with the team but did not play in games. This allowed him to save a year of eligibility.

Playing for the Florida Gators

As a sophomore, Adrian had his best game against Florida A&M. He scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. This is called a "double-double" in basketball.

In the 2006 NCAA Tournament Final, Adrian played a key role. He scored 9 points and got 6 rebounds. His efforts helped the Gators win the championship game. Over his four years at Florida, Adrian played in 123 games. He averaged about 3.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.

Professional Basketball Journey

After graduating from Florida, Adrian Moss began his professional career. He played for many teams in different countries.

Playing in Europe

Adrian first signed with Randers Cimbria, a team in Denmark. He played very well there, averaging 25.4 points and 11.4 rebounds per game. He was even named to the Eurobasket.com All-Basketliga First Team.

Later in 2007, he moved to Morges Basket in Switzerland. He also played for Science City Jena in Germany. In October 2007, he joined Villa de Los Barrios in Spain's second division. In 2008, he signed with Cáceres Ciudad del Baloncesto.

Adrian returned to Germany in 2009 to play for Eisbären Bremerhaven. In 2010, he played briefly for Hapoel Kiryat Tiv'on in Israel. Then, he signed with Palencia Baloncesto in Spain, where he played for two seasons.

Playing in South America and Asia

In 2012, Adrian moved to South America. He played for Unión Progresista in Argentina. In 2013, he joined Atlético Aguada in Uruguay.

After that, Adrian went to Asia. He played for Bambitious Nara in Japan in 2013–2014. He also played for Niigata Albirex BB and the Sendai 89ers in Japan in 2014.

Return to Denmark

In 2015–2016, Adrian played for Stevnsgade Basketball in Denmark. He then moved to BMS Herlev Wolfpack in the same country. He played for them until 2018.

Coaching Career

While playing for BMS Herlev's men's team in Denmark, Adrian Moss also started coaching. He was an assistant coach for the team. He also worked as a coach for the club's youth teams. In May 2021, Adrian was named the head coach for BMS Herlev. He coached the team until the end of the 2023-24 season.
