Aeonium cuneatum is a cool type of succulent plant. It's a flowering plant that belongs to the Crassulaceae family. This family includes many plants that store water in their leaves. Aeonium cuneatum has a large, flat cluster of leaves called a rosette. It doesn't have a tall stem like many other plants.

What Does Aeonium cuneatum Look Like?

The leaves of Aeonium cuneatum are very smooth. They have a special grey shine on their top surface. If you rub the leaves, this shine might come off a little.

This plant grows in a unique way. It easily sends out new shoots from its base. This means one plant can quickly become a large group of Aeoniums spreading across the ground.

Its Bright Yellow Flowers

When Aeonium cuneatum blooms, it produces bright yellow flowers. These flowers are more open than those of some other Aeonium types. This makes them look a bit like little stars.

What Does "Cuneatum" Mean?

The second part of the plant's name, cuneatum, comes from Latin. It means "wedge-shaped." This name describes the shape of the plant's leaves. They are wider at the top and narrow down towards the base, just like a wedge.
