Afra Saraçoğlu (born 2 December 1997) is a Turkish actress and model. In 2018, she won the Shining Star Award at the 45th Golden Butterfly Awards. Afra Saraçoğlu gained widespread prominence after portraying Seyran Şanlı, the leading role of Yalı Çapkını (2022–present). She is also known for her roles as "Ece" in Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları, "Gizem" in Öğretmen, and "Tülin Saygı" in Yeşilçam.

Life and career

After the Ottoman Empire collapsed, her family were Turkish immigrants from Thessaloniki and Crete.

Television

She was cast in Öğretmen, an adaptation of Mr. Hiiragi's Homeroom, in which she has the leading role alongside İlker Kaleli and Ceren Moray. With Mert Ramazan Demir, she played together in youth series "Ögretmen" and "Yalı Çapkını", "Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları". In 2019, she played the role of Hayat in the TV series Kardeş Çocukları, alongside Nur Fettahoğlu and Mehmet Aslantuğ. Before this experience, she played the character of Ece for 50 episodes in her first TV series called Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları in 2017. She became the brand face of Hummel and Pantene in 2018.

Streaming series

With Çağatay Ulusoy and Selin Şekerci, she played in BluTV's period series Yeşilçam which is about the old Turkish cinema industry.

Film

At the age of eighteen, she got her first role in the film En Güzeli. She then appeared alongside Özcan Deniz and Nurgül Yeşilçay in İkinci Şans. With Tolga Sarıtaş, she had leading role in romantic youth film Kötü Çocuk. With Mert Yazıcıoğlu and Kerem Bürsin, she played in İyi Oyun, a movie about video game players. She also had the leading role in Aşk Bu Mu opposite Kubilay Aka.

Theatre

With Nurgül Yeşilçay, she performed in the play Bir Barda Bir Gece.
