Afra Saraçoğlu (born December 2, 1997) is a talented actress and model from Turkey. She became very well known for playing the main character, Seyran Şanlı, in the TV series Yalı Çapkını, which started in 2022. In 2018, she won the Shining Star Award at the 45th Golden Butterfly Awards, which is a big honor in Turkey. She also played important roles like Ece in Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları and Tülin Saygı in Yeşilçam.

Afra Saraçoğlu's family moved to Turkey from Thessaloniki and Crete after the Ottoman Empire ended. She started her acting career in 2015 and has been very active ever since.
Her Acting Journey
Afra began acting in films when she was just eighteen years old. Her first movie was En Güzeli. She then appeared in İkinci Şans with famous actors Özcan Deniz and Nurgül Yeşilçay. She also had a main role in the romantic youth film Kötü Çocuk alongside Tolga Sarıtaş. Later, she acted in İyi Oyun, a movie about people who play video games, and Aşk Bu Mu where she played the main character.
In television, Afra got her first big role as Ece in the TV series Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları in 2017. This show ran for 50 episodes and made her very popular. In 2019, she played Hayat in the TV series Kardeş Çocukları. She also had a main role in Öğretmen, a show based on a Japanese series. More recently, she starred in the popular series Yalı Çapkını.
Afra has also acted in streaming series. She appeared in BluTV's period series Yeşilçam, which is about the old Turkish cinema world. In this series, she worked with actors like Çağatay Ulusoy.
Besides acting in TV shows and movies, Afra has also performed in theatre. She was in a play called Bir Barda Bir Gece with Nurgül Yeşilçay. She has also been the face of big brands like Hummel and Pantene.
