Agadam Bagdam Tigdam is a fun Indian TV show for kids. It's a sitcom, which means it's a funny show about everyday life. The show was made by Contiloe Entertainment. It aired on Disney Channel India.
This show first came out on May 18, 2007. It was one of the first original live-action Hindi shows produced by Disney in India. The idea for the show came from a British TV series called My Parents Are Aliens.
Synopsis
This show is all about the Malhotra family. They seem like a normal, sweet, and fun family. But they have a big secret: they are actually aliens from a planet called Zoltar!
The Malhotras have been living on Earth for about 12 years. Each episode shows a day in their lives. They try their best to keep their alien identity a secret from their neighbors and friends.
The family includes:
- Deepak Malhotra, the dad
- Priya Malhotra, the mom
- Sonia Malhotra, their daughter
- Sunny Malhotra, their son
- Tappu, a family friend who is like an uncle to the kids
They often find themselves in funny situations while trying to hide their powers and strange habits.
Characters
Main Characters
- Deepak Malhotra (played by Kiku Sharda): On his home planet Zoltar, his name is Dingaru. He is a loving dad and husband. Deepak works a regular job from 9 AM to 5 PM. He often comes home to find one of his kids or Tappu playing a prank. He is a good cook but can be a bit lazy.
- Priya Malhotra (played by Soniya Rakkar): Her Zoltar name is Pingaru. She loves her children very much. Priya always tries to keep peace between Sonia and Sunny. She is not a good cook at all. But she loves to eat wooden items, which is very unusual!
- Sonia Malhotra (played by Benazir Shaikh): Sonia is the older child in the Malhotra family. She is very smart and often helps her family when things get chaotic. She is usually the one who saves their secret from being found out. Sonia often argues with her younger brother, Sunny. As a teenager, she is also busy with her school activities.
- Sunny Malhotra (played by Parth K. Muni): Sunny is the younger child and often causes the most trouble. He loves to annoy his sister and parents. Sunny is always coming up with pranks. Sometimes, his pranks could even put the family's secret life in danger!
- Tappu (played by Dilip Joshi): Tappu is a silly and fun-loving uncle to Sonia and Sunny. He really loves to eat mangoes. Tappu often accidentally says things that could reveal the family's big secret.
Other Characters
- Rosie (voiced by Guddi Maruti): She is the Malhotras' neighbor. Rosie is always suspicious of the Malhotras' actions. She thinks something strange is going on with them. Her curious nature often gets her and her husband, Bobby, involved in the Malhotras' daily adventures.
- Bobby (voiced by Rajesh Jais): Bobby is Rosie's husband. He is a good friend to Deepak. Bobby always tries to be a good neighbor. He often tries to stop his wife from interfering too much in the Malhotras' lives.
- Sunny's Class Teacher (voiced by Kurush Deboo): This is Sunny's teacher at school.
- Katrina (voiced by Manini Mishra): She is the mother of Tango, one of Sunny's classmates. Katrina challenges Priya to a cooking competition.
- Kingaroo (voiced by Unknown): He is the King of Zoltar. Deepak is very scared of him, and everyone respects him. Kingaroo often calls the Malhotras to check on them.
