Because so many students wanted to learn, the university needed a much bigger space. That's why they decided to build Agriculture Hall. It was designed to hold all these new students and their classes. The building was completed in 1903.

Years later, in 2001, Agriculture Hall received a special recognition. The UW Foundation honored the building with a commemorative marker. This marker helps people remember the building's long history. It also celebrates its important role in teaching about farming and food production.
