Aixa de la Cruz Regúlez is a talented Spanish writer. She was born in Bilbao on April 7, 1988. Aixa is known for her interesting novels and short stories.
She has written popular novels like Cuando fuimos los mejores and De música ligera. Both of these books were chosen as finalists for the important Premio Euskadi de Literatura award. Aixa has also published a collection of short stories called Modelos Animales (which means Animal Models).

Aixa's Life and Writing Journey
Aixa de la Cruz started writing at a young age. While she was still in school, she wrote articles and short stories. Her talent was recognized early on.
In 2006, she received a special grant from the Antonio Gala Foundation. This grant helped her continue her writing. Today, Aixa lives in Spain and teaches at the Writers' School in Madrid. She helps other people learn how to write.
Plays by Aixa de la Cruz
Aixa has also written plays for the theater. One of her plays is called I Don't Like Mondays. This play was a finalist in two theater contests, Margarita Xirgú and Madrid Sur. It was performed in Mexico in 2012.

Her book Cuando fuimos los mejores (published in 2007) and De música ligera (published in 2009) were both finalists for the Premio Euskadi de Literatura. This means they were among the top books considered for the award.
In 2013, a Spanish magazine called El Cultural recognized Aixa. They chose her as one of twelve writers under 40 years old to watch. This showed that she was a rising star in the writing world.
In 2014, Aixa won the Cosecha Eñe prize. This is an annual award for short stories given by Eñe Magazine. It was another important recognition of her talent.
