Early Career and Loan Spell
In 2004, Akihiro Kurihara joined Albirex Niigata. This team plays in the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league. Later that year, in June, he went on loan to Albirex Niigata Singapore. This team plays in Singapore's league. He played 30 games for them and scored 1 goal.
Return to Japan and Retirement
