Team History
The Akwesasne Wolves played ice hockey in a league called the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL). Their home was in Akwesasne, which is on Cornwall Island in Ontario.
After the 2014-2015 season, the league changed its name. It became the Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2. The league also decided to have fewer teams.
Originally, the league planned to have only twelve teams. However, it ended up with sixteen teams. This meant six teams were removed from the league. The Akwesasne Wolves were one of these teams. Other teams removed included the Morrisburg Lions and the Gananoque Islanders.
